While New Order might have been inspired by the sounds Baker was pioneering at the time of their reformation, he didn't join them in the studio until Confusion (there is a very nice wikipedia page on Blue Monday put together by a bigger NO nerd than I). I have nothing, but respect for Mr. Baker, but his decision these last few years to make a go of it as an international DJ, Peter Hook is in the same boat, has me scratching my head.</p>
