Meet Harbinite tattooist Zhuo Danting through Ukachi Arinzeh's amazing piece of work on Current TV. We've long known about Zhuo on her website, but this is the first time we get to see her in action. Definitely one of Shanghai's coolest tattoo artists!

Forget passport stamps, just get tattooed - now that's a creative travel concept.
and she's right for the most part about how many young chinese think, "very few people have their own ideas. . . . they just want what's popular" (translation) or copied and cool.
Hence, riding the subway you see very familiar themes among the young. but then again that's maybe what it means to be young.
Prediction, tattooist Zhuo will play her role in
China's rebellious goth fashion movement sometime in China's near future, just after tattoos get trendy amoung the locals.
"one of the coolest" ??!! Name one cooler!! ;-)
