you don't have the right to say freedom for Tibet, Tibet was dependent on Qing Dynasty hundreds of years before and PRC now!!!! If "was indepedent" is reason for independent, your country invasion lots of area should independent now!!

The Han Chinese people have no right to say to the World that Tibet is an internal problem. Tibet was an independent, sovereign nation prior to the invasion by China. The Chinese can repeat their views over and over and it will not change the facts of history. The Dalai Lama says that he believes the best thing for the Nation of Tibet is to seek meaningful autonomy. This means giving the Tibetan people a meaningful role in governing their country. In this way, a peaceful solution can be reached. China is opening its doors for the 2008 Olympics. When you invite people into your home, they will look around and form their own opinions. It is your behavior, not your words that speak loudest in forming opinions. What opinion will the World take home from China this summer? We should look for common ground and peaceful resolution to problems, not just spout rhetoric.

Maybe it's best not to take it at face value, here's what she said before the show on SmartShanghai.com: There is a lot of self-parody going on. For example with the track "Declare Independence," every time I hear that track, the beginning of it, I just start laughing because it’s just so extreme and there is kind of like a totally "anti-everything" kind of person who is very ... walking with banners and protesting and very green ... and you know, I just find it very comical, these kinds of personalities.
