<description>&lt;p&gt;Dear god please stop with the Bai Ling news. She doesn&apos;t live in Shanghai. She&apos;s from Chengdu. She has zero relationship to the city - only sharing an ethinicity in common with this city&apos;s residents. 

If you were going to report on a Chinese residing in the United States, how about Yao Ming (at least he&apos;s Shanghainese)?
