This guy looks like a clown...

Georgey Porgey,
Pudding and pie,
Turned his back on the Tibetans and let them die...

And that goes for wet noodle Brussesl, beer sucking London and passed-out-drunk Oz as well.

Perhaps the first real sign of the The End of Times is that all of mankind's institutions built to promote and protect the preciousness of human life have simultaneously failed. The UN, the IOC, DC, Brussels, the US media as a whole, etc

天大地大不如黨的恩情大，
爹親娘親不如毛主席親，
千好萬好不如社會主義好，
河深海深不如階級友愛深。

Right, guys?

Here's the original Chinese quote:
"党像西藏人民的父母.党中央是藏人真正的菩萨"

It literally translates as
"The Party is like the father and mother of the Tibetans. The CPC is the True Buddha of the Tibetans."

"The parent?"

The English teacher in me can't help wonder about this miracle of parthenogenesis. There's only one parent? Freaky!

Or is it more like a single-parent household? And did mama or baba leave? What gives, Zhang? Immaculate Buddhist Conception? Cloning?

But other than that little nitpick, it's a totally great metaphor.

Here's another metaphor or sorts. I think the Panchen Lama might actually be a reincarnation of Puyi, Emperor of Manchukuo. Remember that guy, China?

While it is true that a lot of destruction of property is going on, I do find it intriguing that the handpicked Panchen Lama is condemning the situation as critical without urging the government to take a less heavy-handed approach approach.

Here is what he reportedly (Xinhua) expressed: The 11th Panchen Lama condemns the Lhasa riot and says sabotage acts are against the tenets of Buddhism. No mention of the suffering of his people. Nice.

Compare this to the Dalai Lama, who has urged the Tibetens to not be violent while urging the Chinese government to act with restraint, a position that expresses the same disdain for violence while containing a bit of compassion.

Now who loves his people more?

it's good that we know that many parents should be in prison for child abuse.
i wonder how deeply he really believes this?
should we consider now that Buddha has reencarnated as the Central Party Comittee?
and if so, then are all government organizations some kind of reencarnated Buddha???
I wonder also how many people they have guided to the light? and how?
this sentence goes to run against any of the top 5 of Bush.
this is so horrible!
