Good job shopgirl!! Keep it up. You are right giving food is the best way to show these people you care without contributing a single jiao to their handlers. Keep in mind nutrition is important too. Also talking with them will brighten their day more than anything else. Most of the time they feel invisible and despised. And to these pitiful loosers who care for nothing but themselves. I feel sorry for you and your miserable existence. You will never know the joy of pure kindness. And yes in my city there are people who wait for diners to leave the table and then they scurry in to collect the leftovers before the staff can clear the table. When you are a beggar in China you have no pride. Leftovers are just fine.

good posts, or really. when i walk past a beggar, i don't give them money i give them a bottle of drink, chips or candy etc.
