Actually, a few of you should be placed in SNOB HELL - sure, the Shaw Bros. have made some terrific films and they have also made CRAP - FUN crap but still - Mighty Peking Man!! And Heaven & Hell is fun and beautiful to look at but also unintentionally funny. Ive watched the whole series of videos on this niche and they are hilarious - you dont seem to grasp the satire and tongue in cheek mode of the whole thing. The word CRAP doesnt mean a straight on insult. Stop taking yourself so serious and buy a sense of humor.

There are many subgenres of this. "Japan is so crazzzzy" is a particularly bad one. It's so pervasive, in fact, that "Lost in Translation" is held up as a good film.

Folks in the USA like this who think that their cultural prejudices are both hilarious and deep, and, by association, the folks who are interested in their opinions, always make me glad to be in China. This guy will be on "The Internet's Doofiest Announcers" reel for sure.

Hmmn ...using Shaw Brothers as an example of 'crap' cinema. Slate are so far out of the loop that they think French New Wave is about surfing on the Cote d'Azure.
