We already told you about the latest Dandi Wind news. We are happy to hear that a venue has been found and look forward to an intense live performance.
We also already told you this, but it is worth repeating: On Saturday, Windows Tembo is officially reopening with a free performance by the SUBS. Shanghaiist has been to many SUBS shows in the past and these are mosh friendly affairs that get packed quickly. We recommend getting to the venue early and camping out at the front of the stage. If you aren't into hardcore moshing and are looking for something a little more relaxing, there is something called a PURE party at Yuyintang. Taking place in the park adjacent to the venue there is supposed to be live music, cheap food/drinks, live graffiti artists, and slide shows from a bunch of photographers. Live Bar is also putting on a big show Saturday with Muscle Snog playing their first gig in many, many moons. They are joined by fellow post-rock bands 21 Grams, The Fragile, Grace Latecomer and Slept in Spray for a night of Shoe-gazing introspection.
On Sunday, old school punkers the Last Choice, will be at Yuyintang. While some band from Changsha (we think) called WWW is playing at Live Bar.
