The video on the right is SMG's report on the global tour that the Olympic torch is currently on. Things are all bright and sparkley, everything is going according to plan, and the torch will be taken to places where it's never been before, including Almaty, Kazakhstan. No mention of the challenges the Olympic torch relay has faced, no mention of the protests that has dogged the torch everywhere it has gone, and no mention of the Chinese Ambassador to the UK dropping out of the torch relay mentioned in this BBC report (embedding disallowed, unfortunately). In a separate report by AFP, Lodi Gyari, an envoy of the Dalai Lama, has urged China to drop plans to run the Olympic torch relay through Tibet in light of what has happened, but China promptly dismissed the call as another "bid to sabotage the Games".

can not understand why they didn't report the protest. We Chinese would be pleased if they did so, because we can enjoy seeing those farces and clowns. Life is boring. we should embrace those free-of-charge entertainments
Yes, I also enjoy the antics of farces and clowns. Glad to have you on board, richardlee.
finally, a clown is jumping out right in front of me. Thank you! Alec! thank you so much! thank you for bringing so much fun to my life! But sorry, i forget to bring tip to you. what a pity
1) Tibet is a part of China, this is not a question. so the urge of Lodi Gyari to exclude Tibet of torch relay is very absurd. he has the right to speak up freely, we have the right to treat him as a clown.
2) BBC is no longer representing truth news, even Elizabeth II thought about suing BBC on one report. Chinese embassy in UK has clarified that our Ambassador will BE in this torch relay.
3) any distortion of this event will achieve 2 results:
--to enforce the determination of Chinese(from all parts and areas and backgrounds) to protect our homeland and unbroken territory.
--whatever we do, there will always be someone there who is not satisfied, someone wants to make noise. that is the life. so, we accept it. now i am sitting in front of TV with a pot of Loongjin Tea, waiting for the living entertainment to begin. CCTV/SMG really should run a full coverage of this London relay, Beijing need trust their people who have developed a quite strong stomach in recent 10 years.
It will be nice to see the Chinese ambassador to the UK get hit with a bag of poo from the rooftop.
Tibet was never a part of China, there is no question and China is definitely a country full of clowns (just look at the pants that many women wear in China...clown pants!)

You don't like CHina. It is fine. Go home! stop whining at every website. You are such a loser!!!
