Nas show in Shanghai postponed

Nas: Coming to Shanghai April 25thWe told you a little while ago about Nas coming to Shanghai and how the whole thing confused us a little. Well, we just got a message from the promoters and we're pretty clear on the meaning this time:

Due to visa issues amongst the entourage of guest star, NAS, the date of the Solid Hip Hop Party has been pushed back. The event promoter is working on a four to six week delay, and the very latest updates will be up on SmartShanghai as and when we have them.

Ah crap. We will, of course, let you know if the show gets re-arranged for another time. They seem fairly sure that this is a postponement NOT a cancellation so hopefully Nas and his entourage won't suffer from the recent tightening of visa regulations and they'll all be over in Shanghai soon. We'll see...

Somebody is going to get stabbed. I have been looking forward to this for weeks with my tickets in hand as of yesterday.

And now this.

Dammit. Why couldn't this have happened to Celine Dion?

Because Celine doesn't roll 20 deep?
