<description>&lt;p&gt;I have to say that kind of &quot;local kitsch&quot; was something that made living in Shanghai pleasant.  I don&apos;t remember seeing that in the few other cities with enough smooth (and clean) sidewalk surface to provide a sufficient canvas.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
