After a successful month running at reduced capacity, the new Terminal 2 at Pudong Airport took another 18 airlines under its wing today.
Whilst you should double check when you get to the airport (the airline who sold you the ticket may not be the one running the plane), the full list of airlines now operating from Pudong reads as follows:
- Aeroflot
- Aerosvit (Ukraine)
- Air Canada
- Air China
- Air India
- Air Macau
- Air New Zealand
- Alitalia
- ANA Nippon
- Asiana (RoK)
- British Airways
- Cathay Pacific
- Cebu Pacific
- Dragon Air
- EVA Airways
- Far Eastern (Taiwan)
- Finnair
- Garuda (Indonesia)
- Lufthansa
- Malaysian
- North Western
- Phiilipine Airlines
- Qantas (Australia)
- Qatar Airways
- Royal Brunei
- Royal Nepal
- Shanghai Airlines
- Singapore Airlines
- Thai Airways
- Transaero (Russia)
- Turkish Air
- United Airlines (USA)

Today's changes bring the number of flights operating out of the new terminal up to around 60% of the total traffic in and out of Shanghai's main international airport.
The gradual roll-out of flights from T1 to T2 seems to have worked well with no major problems reported since the building first opened on March 26th.
