Muenchen - "I would say few people from the western cultivated cities in southern China, e.g. Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc. would do so. "

Thats funny, having a western cultivated brain makes me boycott all the time. Anyone who shops without thought is an idiot.

I would say few people from the western cultivated cities in southern China, e.g. Shanghai, Shenzhen, etc. would do so. They know what politicians want the folks to do and that is such a disgust to them.

Went to a Carrefour in Yangpu and one in Minhang. Didn't see any protesters at either. Plenty of shoppers.

Nothing happened at the Carrefour in Nanshan, Shenzhen. A few cops outside, no protesters. The aisles were pretty empty though--probably about 100 people at midday. Best part was that they had 2 for 1 on some cheese!
