Reuters reports that the view from the 36km behemoth is so arresting that drivers have been stopping their cars to take a look, causing regular accidents and over 300 arrests. Since it will be another two years (two years?!) before the viewing platforms in the middle of the bridge are finished, slack-jawed yokels eager for a souvenir snap have taken to posing in front of traffic cameras.
