From Sexy Beijing:
American style fast food is big in China these days and chains like McDonald's continue to expand across this massive market. At the same time, young Chinese are fatter than their parents were. Coincidence?

The teenager eating with his mouth open is just disgusting. McDonald's is shit food.
This is obviously a problem in the states as well. You should rent the movie "supersize me" to see the effects of eating too much McDonald's.
Anything overdone can be bad. Moderation of all things is key to a healthy body and society. There is nothing wrong with eating an occasional burger from McDonalds (or any other fast food), it is eating it daily or even weekly that can lead to obesity and heart problems.
Just as a glass of red wine can be beneficial to the body, drinking an entire bottle at once is very detrimental.
Symptom or cause? Seems that modernization here in the urban centers especially has led to families looking for a quick fix. Lets face it, its hard to compete with fried foods and fast foods. But is this the cause of obesity or just a symptom of an overall problem?
Moderation is key. Once a week probably wouldn't be bad but daily? Seems there might be other issues at play here.
It's easy to just keep getting fatter and fatter, when you've got a scapegoat.
"I'm not in control! McD's is providing this food, and marketing to me, so I'm not the one to blame! 没办法咯!"
Soon enough, someone will try to sue McD's because their kid is too fat. Perhaps it's happened already.
Moderation is key. Blaiming the State or the jolly old Mc Clown aint gonna solve anything.
Not eating properly, not studying properly, not playing properly. They forgot to mention that these people CHOOSE to be shameful roaders.
