Richard Gere should wash himself real clean and take enough guts to ask his lama lover the credibility of following full text of the Dalai's 1951 telegram to Mao: "Chairman Mao of the Central People's Government: This year the local government of Tibet sent five delegates with full authority headed by Kaloon Ngapoi to Beijing in late April 1951 to conduct peace talks with delegates with full authority appointed by the Central People's Government. On the basis of friendship, delegates on both sides concluded the Agreement on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet on May 23,1951. The local government of Tibet as well as the Tibetan monks and laymen unanimously support this agreement, and under the leadership of Chairman Mao and the Central People's Government, will actively assist the People's Liberation Army in Tibet to consolidate national defence, drive imperialist influences out of Tibet and safeguard the unification of the territory and the sovereignty of the motherland. I hereby send this cable to inform you of this."

What a dumb commercial. I wonder how much money they wasted making this crap ad. Gere is a tool. This was obviously designed solely to create controversy and generate publicity. The cynicism of the west on stark display. These guys are really helping the people of Tibet aren't they? They'd sell out their mother's for some ink...

hallo, first of all, thanks for allowing me to write here. I found this blog by chance, and I just want to leave a remark. Why in the comment, there is nothing concerning the technical issues of this new car from Lancia? Are we talking about a car or about Richard Gere? The new Delta (Lancia Delta) is one of the best car in his segmment. Lancia Delta presents very innovative solutions concerning the way you drive and the safety itself of the car. I would rather talk about this aspects than what Richard Gere does. Do you think that in Europe everybody agrees which what Chinese government and companies do? This unhappiness about chinese government doesn't stop us to talk only about the quality of your products. The political issues are your business, and not our. I recommend you to pay attention at these two italian brand: Lancia and Alfa Romeo:-), they are really beautiful!! Ciao and best regards from Italy Antonio
