Are you ready for the Jackie Chan Museum, Shanghai?

Jackie Chan musuem to be built in ShanghaiColour us excited! Jackie Chan (成龙) — the man who was the subject of the first post ever to be written on this blog — is going to have a museum named after him! Renovated from old factory buildings located out in the *sshole of nowhere in Shanghai's Putuo District, the museum will house props and costumes from Chan's movies, photos and other memorabilia. This makes him the world's second person to have a museum built during his lifetime — the first of course being our Dear Leader Kim Jong Il. We're not sure why Jackie wants to have this museum built so many years before his death, but we know he's not happy just to have his likeness greet people at Shanghai's Madame Tussaud's. After all he's only the seventh most popular wax statue there.
