At the side of the Maglev station, between the two terminals, three new restaurants are opening at Pudong Airport on August 10 (Sunday). There is a new KFC (for those who can't walk 5 meters to the existing branch), a Pizza Hut, and a Chinese fast-food joint. Also opening soon is a branch of the noodle chain that features Bruce Lee wearing the "Game Of Death" yellow tracksuit as their logo (Note to self: find out name of that restaurant!).

Surprisingly enough, that restaurant is named "Kung Fu Fast Food"
Damn, reading the headline I was hoping these restaurants were opening airside.
Alas Pudong airport remains a mind numbing void.
T- Kung Fu fast food eh? I'll have to give it a try.
Whilst you're being so helpful, what's the name of the first place of the three?
My Chinese colleague said it was "Dong Fang Bai", and that the name is completely meaningless.
AiTuDou- there's a pizza parlour airside isn't there? I'm not sure where but have seen staff with pizza boxes from the place. Ajisen Ramen landside is still the best bet IMHO.
Airside there's a series of generic coffee shops and cafes, but they are expensive and really bad quality.
I know it's an airport, buts its a wasted opportunity, fly from Heathrow T3 or Bangkok's new airport, for example, and you have a whole raft of things to do in the departure lounge.
It's a captive audience, I still wonder why some big brands haven't been allowed to move in and make a killing.
