London can't and really shouldn't try to top the Beijing games. I don't know if anyone could, but a great games that I loved were the '92 Barcelona games. They were much smaller scaled yet magical in so many ways. If London meets that standard, I will be in awe.

Many Londoners either don't want or don't expect the venues and ceremonies in London 2012 as glamorous as Beijing. Given how much money and time it took them to build Heathrow's Terminal 5, maybe I wouldn't be surprised.

What an absolutely awesome games! It's gone by way too fast. The closing ceremonies were beautiful and a dream I never want to awaken from. All the incredible hard work and effort that China put into these Olympics totally paid off!
