All I tried to point out, that you may have been wrong.

She may or may not have been at Tiananmen for the demonstrations, I did not say anything about that, it is only what you try to imply.

A futile attempt applying party-school dialectics.

    To pirx,

Though www.lijiazhang.com doesn't work, I still thank you for the precious adolescent time spent in correcting my mistake. While cursing my short memory span, I have to admit youth is truth. I promise I’ll never err again, lol!

But what I was driving at was: she was NOT at Tainanmen Square Protest in Beijing on June 1989 as the a.m report stated or as you thought.

As a friend of Zhang Lijia and her ex-husband, both of whom interviewed me before, I am quite keen to know, if I was wrongly informed about her experience in 1989. It’s no tongue in cheek but a matter about her honesty. As an old dog who doesn't know new trick, could I ask you to do some more vigorous searching work to counter my argument again, or simply to prove I am not only an old dog but also an idiot as well?

Thanks in advance for your response which would be highly appreciated.

On a fine summer day in 1988 inside the Forbidden City, I bumped into a blue-eyed Oxford student at an ice-cream queue inside the Forbidden City.

Has the Forbidden City suddenly & unexpectedly changed location?

It's not a fact that Ms. Zhang Lijia participated in the Tiananmen Square protests.

She made her first ever visit to Beijing in 1990 and met her British ex-husband by then.

Her talant doesnt need help from Tiananmen Square to shine.
