Don't cha wish your office was cool like this?

Forget your banking cube farm in the WFC, Shanghai's coolest office space is Leafy Shade in Hong Kou district.

Transforming a dark and dingy former hotel into an urban forest was the work of a Japanese guy at Shanghai based design team A-Asterix, the people who also knocked together the Sony Style store on Huai Hai Lu..

None of the press information gives an exact address but if anyone works there, can we come over for a picnic?

Are these the before or after shots. Still looks kind of dark or dingy to me.

However if the office is in fact the front for an upmarket KTV brothel then...yeah baby

Did their genius stop at the lobby? The rest of the building just looks like a typical office tower.

reminded me the room where the aliens came out in Predator II... cool but a bit over the top for an office...

Seems like it would be hard to get any work done in this disco inferno

It seems on first inspection that the practicality of the office space is almost as shite as the usability of their poncy website.

I like it! It looks like the background already has some kind of glow to it - though that could be just from the pictures. Whose offices is it for?

This is similar to the lobby of our office.

One nice touch for this design would be to have embedded, dim warm glowing lights in the background of the walls
