What I mean is they knew it was in the formula but were rebuffed by Sanlu when they tried to prompt an early recall.

NO IT'S NOT THE NZ FIRM FAULT, THEY ALREADY TOLD SANLU LONG AGO, BUT SANLU REFUSED TO ACT, LOCAL OFFICIALS REFUSE TO ACT, EVERYONE REFUSED TO ACT, EVEN IN APRIL A LADY EVEN WENT ON THE INTERNET FORUM TO TALK ABOUT HER CHILD LOOKING SICK AFTER DRINKING THE MILK, SANLU RUSHED TO CALL HER AND GAVE HER A DEAL. AND GUESS WHAT THE DEAL WAS ? THEY COMPENSATED HER WITH MORE MILK POWDER. SHE WAS TOO NAIVE TO BELIEVE IN SANLU BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT IT IS A FAMOUS BRAND, SHE HAD FAITH IN THEM. I KID YOU NOT. SO SANLU COMPENSATION TO THAT WOMAN IS MORE POISON. HOORAY HOORAY SANLU !!!

Going to be serious here for a moment: it would be a good idea to stay away from anything claiming to have protein in it besides animal products and eggs. If one major food company is doing it, how many small, desperate companies are doing it? Or other large food companies?
