Entrepreneurial Chengdu mom offers to breastfeed your baby for RMB300 per day

breastfeeding0922.jpgAn entrepreneurial woman in Chengdu sensing there was money to be made as the melamine scandal continues to roil China's milk industry has put up an ad on the Tianya forum offering her breastfeeding services for the princely sum of RMB300 per day:

奶水丰富,愿再哺养一名婴儿
本人家住华阳双楠名筑,自家娃娃3个月。因奶水丰富,每天都浪费很多。愿意再哺养一名婴儿,日收费300元,可协商。有需要的请联系。联系人:黄女士。小灵通:028-XXXXXXXX.座机:XXXXXXX

Lots of milk to spare, willing to breastfeed one baby
I live in a nice residential compound in Huayang Shuangnan and have a three month old baby. Have lots of milk and waste a lot everyday. Willing to breastfeed one baby for RMB300 per day. Negotiable. Please contact Mdm Huang at 028-XXXXXXX, XXXXXXX.

In an interview given to Modern Express 《现代快报》on the condition that her full identity not be exposed, the reporter found 32 year old Mdm Huang at home carrying her three month old male baby — and with her shirt wet because she's been lactating so heavily. Huang tells the reporter that the heavy lactation has been a source of major discomfort to her. Each day she says she would have to squeeze out at least four bottles, or about 2kg of milk. As a result, she can't sleep well at night and doesn't dare to venture too far away from home in the day. Her decision to place the Internet advert was because she had read online that 'breastfeeding nannies' (奶妈) in Shenzhen were earning as much as RMB10,800 per month. Huang adds that she can breastfeed up to two babies in addition to her own, and would breastfeed 'client babies' before her own.

We think Mdm Huang's actions may be inspiring other similarly entrepreneurially minded woman as we've found at least one other online ad using exactly the same words but pointing to a different cell number belonging to someone else.

Do you have to be a baby to use this service?

With the melanine milk scandal, she couldn't have timed this better

Does she have enough for my latte?

I am reminded of that "Bitty" character on Little Britain.

Can I breastfeed off of her. I wants some of her breasts.
