<description>&lt;p&gt;did you look for the Daiwa Research article, I looked briefly and couldn&apos;t find it. You&apos;re sourcing cellular news which is sourcing scmp which is sourcing a daiwa research paper that doesn&apos;t seem to bepublic.

the scmp article says &quot;China Mobile (SEHK: 0941, announcements, news)  is expected to offer Apple&apos;s iPhone on the mainland but the 3G and Wi-fi network functions will be disabled as Beijing has not yet approved handsets with these features, according to Daiwa Institute of Research.&quot;

it seems like useless speculation, and doesn&apos;t Samsung already sell wifi enabled phones in the mainland?

China mobile really got fucked on the reshuffling, I think they&apos;ll put all their weight behind Apple bowing to the TD-SCDMA technology, 
 Apple is under the gun to get market share before developers get onto their second round of apps for the android platform,&lt;/p&gt;</description>
