New Zealander Rob Thompson set out from Leysin, Switzerland on June 24, 2007 and spent the next 15 months on the world's longest journey by skateboard ever. He travelled 12,000km solo and unsupported through Europe, across the USA, and across China. This video features the last 1,200km of his journey which started in Xixia, Henan Province and ended in Shanghai a few days ago. We're told Thompson is currently chilling out in Shanghai until Monday when he heads home for the first time in a few years. More info on his journey at 14degrees.org.
