Agent for the NED??? I just Googled my Chinese name for the hell of it and found this. Didn't know I was so famous, nor that I had a second job unbeknownst to myself for which I sadly receive no paycheck, lol. Maybe my Karmic account is rising at least ;)

I gave out my phone number cuz I was sick of ppl accusing me of not speaking Cantonese. If you know anyone from HK, you know we're a little stubborn about our language. *Especially* if we're white and can speak some.

Don't be so paranoid!

"something the Dharamsala-based Tibetan government-in-exile does not have the luxury of."

Well, the Dharamsala had the luxury of the Chinese government's ignorance about how to do proper propaganda, at least not as good as how Dharamsala has been doing it.

This poster, Sau Laan, is a prolific poster on pro-Tibet forums and news articles that pertain to Tibet and she is an agent for the NED. She claims to be a Wisconsin musician and challenges people to call her to prove her Chinese skills (why on earth will someone give you his or her phone number? Maybe to do some tracking?). Don't believe me? Go goole Sau Laan, Desaulaan, Sile etc. She is particularly active in Phayul.com (where she posts as Sile)and Youtube as Sau Laan

"to reach you and ME," please. I know I have no right to complain about editing standards considering how lax I am with the website I'm supposed to edit, but there it is anyway.

Some people obviously didn't want the truth of the US NED information to get out but its irrelevant really as there is a great deal of proof that the US government are funding the Tibet campaign groups. China's google campaign is small fry. Many articles and videos all over the internet already show that. Now the issue on the forums is about stopping the anti-democratic activities of the CIA and NED especially after NED and the CIA's campaign to overthrow the democracy in Venezuela came to light. Support the International Endowment for Democracy http://www.iefd.org/

Watch the video on google videos entitled 'the war on democracy'. Its shocking.
Here's a preview.

Even on the friends of Tibet website India

and on wikipedia (NED was active in France and Spain too. Is any democracy safe???)

God, you guys are sure on an NED kick lately.

I don't see any TGIE or NED ads popping up on Google. I don't see any Tibetan jets flying overhead, or any Tibetan soldiers crossing into Sikkim, or any Tibetan military beating its citizens to death as the PAP did to Longnan residents two days ago.

So, this "evil TGIE" myth is kind of unimpressive.

As for your wu mao diatribe, go try it on the Longnan videos on YouTube and see what reaction you get. You may be able to ramble on to westerners, but Wudu townspeople are in no mood for it at the moment.

"Of course, in any propaganda exercise, money talks, and it will not hurt to have a big budget backed by a burgeoning economy — something the Dharamsala-based Tibetan government-in-exile does not have the luxury of."

The above statement is pretty BS if you ask me. The TGIE have all the resources that Western governments provide it with. It is no secret that the National Endowment for Democracy (a US government front), spends significant amounts of money for pro-Tibet propaganda purposes. Such as fundings for the ICT, International Campaign for Tibet and how is the TYC (Tibetan Youth Congress) funded? The CIA even chips in with their proxy, Radio Free Asia, broadcasting pro-Dharamsala views.
