<description>&lt;p&gt;After reading this post, i went over to take a look at the &quot;old campus&quot;. WOW! I have not seen a collection of so many old buildings in a small area. Very cool if you are into old Shanghai architecture. 

I took the #9 Metro to the Yan Ji Zhong Lu stop and it was about a 25 minute walk East to get there. 

And yes, you CAN tell which buldings are truly old and which ones are new. CJ&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I was just told that the former St. John&apos;s University of Shanghai is older than the University of Shanghai — it was founded in 1879. The old St. John&apos;s campus, along Suzhou Creek, is now one of the campuses of East China University of Politics and Law. Here is what appears to be a relatively recent photo.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
