Photos: Jens Lekman at Glamour Bar

Jens Lekman had his second show in Shanghai last night, this one at Glamour Bar. Mixing jazzy guitar chords and a quirky upbeat DJ, Lekman sang his signature melodic-melancholic songs causing many well-dressed men and women to shake their heads and croon along. Besides the surprisingly comfortable (albeit de-luxe) venue, the most striking aspect of the concert was how many Swedish girls Jens managed to pull off the streets. Enough to fill, say, an Ikea.

By the end of the night some of us had missed the airplane dance, some had spilled their drink (near an expensive piece of equipment ... damn you!), but nearly all were happy.

Three cheers for an unpretentious night on The Bund!
