Another day, another factory closure, another worker protest. That's not new in Guangdong anymore but with the Chinese New Year drawing close, people are desperate to claim their unpaid wages so they can travel home for the annual reunion with their family. This is an otherwise regular report if not for the footage of the angry crowd pushing policemen back when they tried to stop the NBC crew from doing their work. Outnumbered, the cops could only watch timidly from a distance, quietly video-taping all the goings-on to report back to their higher-ups.

Wow, that was pretty amazing. Fight the power!
Great posting though for what its worth, plice here have an amazingly tough job when it comes to trying to manage unruly yet "correct in principle" protesters who obviously out number the police and could easily attract more sympathy.
Sadly this may only be the beginning of what is to come.
What is coming are trukloads full of PSB riot units and undercover PSB agents to snuff out the unpatriotic, disharmonious trouble makers.
They won't be timid once 300 armored up Wujing boys join them in full riot gear to crack some migrant worker skulls...
I like!! When the cop first approaches the camera and puts his hand over the lens a young Chinese guy pushes his arm out of the way and gives him a look. It's classic! I propose a 人肉搜索 to find him and give him a medal. The look on his face is fantastic, especially in the following scenes.
Ken, Ken, Ken, Ken, Ken ...
You seem to have formed a penchant for punishment since we last met. I see you won't be slowing down with these "Anti-China" articles will you?
When the PSB comes to take you away, be sure to post one last report. Sort of your own "going out in a blaze of glory" kind of thing ... Till then, carry on!
(and remove this message from your server when they come!)
China is much better now because the awakening of the people is inminent, and an awake people can not live under comunism.
