The bigger question is, if this is staged, what exactly does the ad agency think it is doing? Is this supposed to make men or women want to buy the car? As far as I can see it just ties negative emotions to the brand.

Come on, it doesn't take an expert to tell this is not real! The video quality is too good for a mobile phone and the sound quality, of the "boyfriend" is way too clear against all the other noises. Definitely a studio recording. Also, you don't just check out a car, then just go swipe your card, bought. Doesn't work that way.

Yes, from the giant Buick logo in the background it certainly does appear to be a Buick showroom, which means there's a very good chance that the car is a Buick. Specifically, it's a Buick Regal, which goes for close to RMB200000, so this guy's credit card apparently has a much higher limit than mine.
