Shanghai Daily has published some interesting figures on city corruption. Apparently 822 government officials in Shanghai were punished last year, including 10 sub-ministry level officials and 62 division chiefs. Amongst them was Zhang Kepeng, former vice director of the city's Putuo District, and former VP of Shanghai Huayi Co., both for taking bribes.

So,... what was they're punishment?
yeah, that's what i wanna know too. If it's a "it's ok, just don't do it again", that won't cut it.
Ever since the first anti-corruption campaign, these campaigns were never meant to clean-up corruption, it is and has always been merely about political cleansing.
This news could likely be about the result of mopping up of the remaining people close to the former Shanghai party boss.
if a democratically elected president of taiwan can be a schandal, why not some
shanghai officials. to know corruption is not only communist thing, even not a chinese thing, is the first step for you to become smart.
