<description>&lt;p&gt;This is pretty ridiculous. I am not dissing shanghaiist for commenting on this, as it must be interesting to someone as a social study of human behaviour. I do think that more explanation is required though, especially since this is a site frequented by Chinese people who may actually read more into this than they should.

If you look through the first five or six pages, most of the links seem to be commenting on the fact that Google has listed a large number of sites that have &quot;Extremely Terrified of Chinese People&quot; in them. 

AND for every site, such as Shanghaiist, that comments on it, the number of sites that have &quot;Extremely Terrified of Chinese People&quot; in them grows, providing more fodder for discussion. So Shanghaiist is actually contributing to an Internet event that is of very little consequence.

I wouldn&apos;t be surprised if this began as someone&apos;s experiment.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
