Just FYI, we love live music events and would totally be showing more of those ads if their organizers would advertise with us!

So, concert organizers, take advantage of great rates, a captive audience of music lovers that come to our site each day and get to emailing us: advertising @ shanghaiist.com

Sad to say, but this was bound to happen. Concerts like this won't sell out because everyone knows something or someone's gonna f*ck it up. Better to find a good scalper the day of, if a show makes it that far.

What IS awesome about this announcement is the ads on the page. Someone has finally seen the light and is awarding ad-space to live music events rather than seedy hand-job massage services given by "hotel angels".

People! Get off your asses and support local music!
