Annual Great Wall Marathon May 16

greatwallmarathon.jpg Some of us here have decided to pony up and start training for the Great Wall Half Marathon, which takes place on May 16. We are pleased to say that on Monday, we survived 4 kilometers on the treadmill and yesterday it was an 8 kilometer run around the French Concession.

A full marathon is over 40 kilometers and that just sounded a bit too unreasonable, but if you're keen and fit, why not?

The deadline for marathon registration is Monday, March 9. On May 16, you can run the full marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K or be a spectator. For more practical information about the marathon, go to the travel forum of ChinaTravel.net.
