yes! Official press release before they actually have the permit. Mind you, if you couldn't advertise big shows before you had a China gov 100% go ahead then you couldn't really advertise.

The organizer for MIDI Shanghai posted the following on the MIDI Shanghai Facebook page: "I just spoke with Beijing Midi School president. He said there will not be a music festival at Shanghai Sculpture space this May due to government permit related issues."
