Support kittens, puppies, and the SCAA with your artwork

Second Chance Animal Aid, that awesome organization that helps stray or abandoned pets find loving homes in Shanghai needs you... to get creative! They're calling all artists - of any age - to submit work for the 2009 SCAA Art Contest.

The theme is “What Dogs and Cats Need Most.” Create a picture (or get your kid to) on high quality A4 sized paper depicting what you think our cuddly friends need for a chance to win prizes and support SCAA.

The deadline for submitting your original masterpiece is April 1, 2009. You can drop off your pet-themed Picasso anytime before that date at Café DuMonde 咖啡杜梦in Pudong (Thumb Plaza, FangDian Lu, near DingXiang Lu 芳甸路199弄大拇指广场) . All artwork will be displayed on SCAA's website.

Then on April 25, you'll get the chance to bid on the various pieces at the awards presentation ceremony - also at Café DuMonde.
