Good write-up of a very funny museum. Better pix next time pleaz! Could be much funnier with better visuals. Plus, I don't want to pay for a visit myself. Wonder if you could get away with stealing dinosaur bones?

AWESOME! I love this place-- next to the aquarium, my favorite thing to do in Shanghai for exactly the reasons you listed above. In fact, my girlfriend and I were linked on a website called morbid anatomy where we wrote up our experiences there and shared a lot of pictures. Shanghaiist readers might be interested in that post which can be found here. Glad to see the Shanghai Natural History museum getting some advertising!
