1. Yunfeng doesn't even have a sound system, blame the promoter for skimping on the production gear. I do give them props for serving cold beer inside the venue, wish the stadiums and DaWuTai would get with that. 2. Karen Mok truly sucks. I don't care if regional Chinese like her chipmunk face and every magazine here has plastered it on their cover. When it comes to musical ability this chick simply doesn't have any vocal talent. I wish they had not included her rapidly aging ass on that stage. I thought John's performance and song selection was great. 3. Perhaps the strangest thing was the people sitting down. Some remained seated the entire show, eating popcorn like it was a movie. Others would variably stand and sit, like they were at church. This made me really feel that the crowd in Shanghai (local and foreign alike) has no soul. For fuck's sake, it's a pop concert -- STAND UP! How do you think the performer feels looking out at the audience all sitting there twiddling thumbs? Even in the front rows people were seated. So lame.
