This week's Adoptable Pet from Second Chance Animal Aid, Shanghaiist's favorite adopted animal charity.
Name: Sanhua
Age: Around 10 months
Health: Treated for fleas, mites, worms, vaccinated and was spayed in February.
Ideal Home: A patient adoptee who is willing to wait for Sanhua to break out of her shell. Sanhua plays well with other cats, though she is also happy to entertain herself.
Story:
Sanhua is a pretty Calico female that was abandoned early in her life with her brother, Mian Hua. Luckily, she was rescued by a kind cat lover and taken to SCAA. Sanhua has a shyer personality, so potential adoptees need to be patient. Once she finally gets used to her new surroundings, though, she is playful and loving. She loves head rubs and greeting her parents in the morning with soft kisses. During the day, she can be very active - give her a toy, and she'll pounce it!
See more pictures of Sanhua here. For more information about adopting Sanhua please contact foster@scaashanghai.org, or come check them out this Sunday, April 19 at O'Malley's Irish Pub (42 Taojiang Lu, near Wulumuqi Lu 桃江路42号) from 12pm to 3pm.
