Hey Farmer! "Grass Mud Horse!"

The deviant little grass mud horse has struck again - only this time, it's a real alpaca rather than an internet one that's the center of this controversy. According to Forbes Asia, two Chinese men used an elaborate scam to trick an oblivious 74-year-old Tennessean Alpaca farmer into giving them business visas.

In true Cao ni ma style, the two men got in touch with Wayne England through a third-party business contact, claiming to be interested in purchasing a number of his Alpacas. England said he had been a little skeptical of the letter, but agreed anyways in hopes of expanding his business to China.

The months came and went, but the men had still not arrived. England received an email late last month from the business contact saying that the men had been involved in a car accident in Beijing. It was only after a little investigation that England realized that the two men had used his letter of interest to illegally enter the country.

Yet, this visa scam may have turned into a business opportunity for England after all. After England contacted the scammer, the scammer apologized, sent him $600 and asked if he wanted to work together on getting more visas and selling alpacas to the mainland.

Mr England has turned down the offer to take part in the visa scams, but said he is willing to work with Mr. Huang on marketing Alpacas and their wool to Chinese buyers. A bit of advice for Mr. England, fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me, fool me thrice, GRASS MUD HORSE!
