You know that pig who managed to survive under the rubble of the Sichuan Earthquake for 36 days and became a hero (even though, if you think about it, lord knows what horrors he was eating to keep alive)? With the outbreak of swine flu, we guess it was high time that somebody started wondering how China’s most famous pig, “Strong Willed Pig” was doing.
Youku Buzz pointed us to this clip. Turns out, like Wilbur and Babe, once you get famous as a pig you’re life is SET:
A Youku user visited Strong-Willed Pig’s “dorm” (the way it’s described in the video) at The Establishment Museum of Sichuan last weekend and brought us the above video clip. Well, I have to say it’s insanely great to be a celebrity, no matter whether you’re a human being or a pig. The museum has re-vaccinated Stong-Willed Pig against swine fever (it’s totally different from swine flu, right?), makes special Chinese medicine for it every day, isolates it from other pigs, and feed it with cod-liver oil and green food rich in vitamins. The sovereign purpose: to improve Strong-Willed Pig’s immunity.
