And our parents told us not to jump on the beds...

bedjump_shanghai.jpg If you walked by Century Square last Thursday, saw a whole slew of people jumping on an absolutely huge mattress, and wondered what the hell was going on - we have the answer for you: It was a publicity event.

Okay, that was more than a little obvious from the copious ad placements. Specifically, it was a press event for InterContinental Hotels Groups (the guys behind Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza) in which 20,000 or so people participated in “the biggest bed-jump in history,”hosted in Paris, London, New York... and Shanghai!

For the Shanghai jump, they got Jiang Yi Qi, the 2008 Trampoline World Cup champion to perform some acrobatic trips. Check out her mad jumping skills on Youku:
