Another "Mao" comes crawling into Shanghai

cats_musical.jpg Apparently one time just wasn't enough for Shanghai's cat crazy audience, because Andrew Lloyd Weber's super popular show about felines doing feline things is making its return trip to the city this September.

The Memory-laden musical was last seen in Shanghai in 2003, when it did a 53-show run at the Shanghai Grand Theater. It won't be sticking around quite as long this time around, showing only eight times between Sept. 5 to Sept. 12.

But eight times should be more than enough for the kitty-inclined to get their fill of prancing and yowling and Jellicle ballin'. For those interested, tickets are now on sale here - they range from 180RMB for the cheapest seats to 1280RMB for VIP passes.
