Obviously, neither Mr. Qin nor his boss is sufficiently in touch with the rest of the world to see anything wrong in this retort. I can see Mr. Qin repeat his witticism at the dinner table to his family, with a chuckle. Yeah, all is so very droll.
As I suspected, it takes another 50 years for China to rejoin civilization.
Perhaps what Qin Gang meant to say is that gays in China are not having any foreign affairs.
