Qingpu district blast caused by fight with boyfriend?

explosion1.jpg Around 6:30PM this last Saturday, a sudden explosion rocked the fourth floor of an apartment building on Chengzhong East Road in the Qingpu district.

The explosion caused an electricity supply failure in nearby areas and injured eight people. Amongst the hurt was a woman who lived on the fourth floor. She had the worst injuries. She is also suspected to be the one who set up the explosion, according to Xinmin.com.

The Qingpu prefecture committee and district government has done a tentative investigation of the blast. They said that it may have been caused by a woman named Jiang, who had quarreled with her boyfriend on that day. She may have set the coal gas on fire on purpose, triggering the huge explosion on the fourth floor.

At the present time, the residents in near areas have calmed down while the details of the accident is still under investigation. Let's hope that our neighbors will not set off an explosive charge because of emotional pains.
