Here's an idea: Transformer as Door Guardian God

Before Transformers 2 officially came out yesterday, a netizen from Chongqing posted a photo on Dayu of a 2-meter "Transformer" outside of a villager's house in Qianjiang Village. The villager told him that this "Transformer" is for keeping the doors safe.

From the wires that are connected to the model in the picture, it seems that this should be an electronic toy. The old man who is standing to the right of the "Transformer" is father of the owner.

When thereporter called Qianjiang Village about the "Transformer," an official said that this "foreign machine" is very popular in the village. The model can wind the horn, light up, and even move. The middle-aged man who owns the "Transformer" said, "I got this transformer model from a friend in Wuhan. I love transformers. They are so strong and always beat down the villains. Now this 'transformer' is my Door God; it will keep my family safe."

Looks like the influence of Transformers has not only spread around in the city, it has also sunk deep into the hearts of the rural people. A smattering of netizen comments:
