More on our Shanghaiist + Boxing Cat July 4 Party

boxingcat_shanghaiist74.jpg As you may have read, Shanghaiist and the Boxing Cat Brewery are teaming up to throw one heckuva American Independence Day party! And as part of that, we're having a raffle and a drinking competition... for charity. A little confused about that last part? Here's our handy explanation on how you can get completely wasted for a good cause.

FIRST: Find a team of five people who are willing to fork up 100RMB per head, come up with a fearsome name and then look for a charity you'd want to sponsor (we can give you suggestions if you'd like).

THEN: Register at the Boxing Cat Brewery on 82 Fuxing Lu (复兴西路82号) before July 1. That's six days from now, so get to it!

YOU'LL GET: 5 Boxing Cat Brewery baseball caps, the chance to win 1000 RMB Spending Credit for your team members, and the chance to win the raffle and 1/2 entry monies to benefit your charity of choice!

Speaking of the raffle, don't forget to participate in that part of the party as well. Raffle tickets will be on sale for 25RMB each or 200RMB for 10.
