Another falling building in Minhang!

minhangbuilding_other.jpg What is it with buildings in Minhang? First that notorious Minhang building collapse happened, and now it seems like another building in the district has serious construction problems too.

According to Xinmin, the No. 9 building complex of Zhongxiang Longbowan residential area (中祥龙柏苑小区) on Baizhang Lu has been sinking over the past month.

On July 2nd, our reporters saw that the marble floor in front of No. 9 Building was pushed up and the ground tile had moved. The back of the building had separated slightly from the ground by about 2.5cm while the rest of the building had sunk downwards almost 10cm.

A Mr. Liu of the Zhongxiang Longbowan real estate management company said that No. 9 building was sank in the ground 4cm one month ago and he immediately reported to the associated offices and departments. However, no one has come to solve the problem so far.

Considering there may actually be people living in this one, let's hope this matter gets solved before it topples over too.
