Antidote: Vietnam's Jetlag Pho-king up the Shelter

antidote_shelterparty.jpg The people who brought us the absolutely awesome Antidote music festival in Zhujiajiao are now hitting up Shelter with three live music acts in one night. On Saturday, Vietnam acts JETLAG (a.k.a. MicMac vs.MauDen), and American electro indie popper Thruoutin will be rocking the space and our bodies.

Jetlag, consisting of DJs MicMac and MauDen, has been busy in Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City (Saigon) creating a party scene that people cannot stop craving. These guys are producing a range of electronic music styles, from smart minimal dub techno, to bangin' techno and dirty electro.

Meanwhile, Thruoutin, also known as Brad M. Sieppel is American born coming from New Orleans, USA. His showcase is a mix of IDM-electronics and quirky lo-fi indie pop, with forays into dubstep and zoo-funk. As a teenager, he was inspired by different genres of music including Latin, punk rock and electronic.
