USA's first internet addict camp sounds much less scary

SOS_kids.jpg You would think that all the news about the horrors of Chinese internet addiction camps would have dissuaded other countries from trying to start up their own. Not so! Apparently, a clinic has recently opened its doors in Washington state, 13 miles away from Microsoft's HQ. The reSTART Internet Addiction Recovery Program costs $14,500 USD and provides a 45-day intensive care program for game, Internet, and texting addicts. Activities include things like meandering along forested trails, learning to participate in home chores, and (allegedly) feeding baby goats. What?! Seems slightly more fun than our methods of beating kids - sometimes to death - and then firing the reporters that dare to write about it happening.

Well...considering in China one would need to be some sort of PSB retiree (or currently active) official with local connections and business partners to get a license to even open such an institution, thus ensuring it's prison-like atmosphere and "breaking" tactics.

$14,500 for the reSTART Internet Addiction Recovery Program ? For $9,900 I'll arrange a 45 day course for your children AND throw in a free crash course of intensive Chinese at the same time...applicants note a disclaimer will need to be signed and said child will need a valid passport and Chinese visa ;) I think I'll call the course BEAT (Beating Electronic Addiction Trends / Beating Errant American Teens)

I honestly think this Internet Addiction Recovery Program will achieve an ideal result if run by CIA, whose LSD and a gun or an eletric drill to the skulls sure work better.

Well it seems China is well on its way to emulating that model. Their instructors are probably retirees from the Uyghur/Tibetan/FLG re-education system.

Apart from LSD, gun or drill, how can I forget my favorite waterboarding. I heard "Uyghur/Tibetan/FLG re-education system" is negotiating with CIA for a co-op and know-how transfer.

The CIA has alot to learn about medieval style torture from China.
